About Michele Fairbairn

Shaped by an eclectic background of over 30 years in community health/development, arts and allied health, Michele merges holistic sensibilities with evidence-based psychological interventions in ways that honour the story, needs and innate wisdom of those who seek to be companioned on their journey. She is especially passionate about embracing inclusive, flexible and integrative approaches in the therapeutic space.  

Utilising a variety of interventions, including, mindfulness, self-compassion, creative arts therapy (including, painting, drawing, clay, sand, voice, movement, writing, play therapy), and eco-therapy, Michele holds space for, and is guided by the needs, strengths, and diversity of every individual.

Developing a dynamic therapeutic relationship in a safe, relaxed, and creative space is foundational to Michele’s compassionate, down-to-earth, and intuitive approach, as she accompanies fellow travellers on their journey towards improved quality of life and well-being.

Intake Interview (90 minutes) - $330

Standard/Subsequent Consult (50-60 minutes) - $240

Requested tasks taking longer than 15 minutes will incur pro rata charges

NDIS (plan- and self-managed)

  • extensive experience (12.5 years) as a resident therapy fur-pupper (onsite + telehealth)

  • Certificates in hugs, snout nuzzles, concerned nudgings and computer screen boopings
